We started our very first Clubs session on Friday. Clubs is when we split up into groups, different from our normal classes and go to one of the four teachers in our space. Mrs Carter takes the Gardening Club, Ms Tumahai take a Bike Riding Club, Miss Moran takes the Blogging Club and I take the Cooking Club.
We made banana muffins! Every child had a job to do, be it sifting the flour, measuring out the baking powder or mashing the banana.
While they were cooking, we could smell very appetising scents wafting over from the kitchen. Once the hot muffins had cooled down from the oven, we tasted them. It was unanimous! They were yummy!
Here is a photo of us about to tuck in!

Team 2 Murals
We had a great time this term, creating our 3 murals now on display outside Team 2's space. Each image is a representation of a different piece of the Glen Innes and Pt England area. Each child got to choose a picture that had significance to them, and represent that image though drawing and then painting on the board.
We had great experiences learning how to mix colours and we now understand what a background is!
We hope you enjoy our work!

Team 2's Hyperstudio Self-Portraits!
Everyone in Team 2 really enjoyed making their self-portrait in Hyperstudio this term. They thought about their culture and what is important to them, and included these details in their backgrounds.
Please watch the movie below to see everyone's contribution. We would love your comments!

Cookie Time!
Our entry to the Manaiakalani Film Festival this year is called 'Cookie Time'.
We didn't know what to make our movie about this year, and then we started to get some ideas...
Ms Gaston made us write a story in our Writing books about what we wanted to be in our movie this year and what might happen. Then we tried to put as many as we could of these stories together to make our movie. We hope you enjoy it!

Te Wa Toi - Art Time!
We had our Immersion Assembly for Term 4 on Monday and were very excited to present our movie for Te Wa Toi. We also had a painting challenge between Mrs Carter and Ms Gaston, to paint anything they wanted on a large blank piece of cardboard before the movie stopped playing.
Here is our movie and the paintings we produced.
